Governor Herbert has announced that over the weekend of May 16th Utah will move from Orange to Yellow related to COVID-19. This change will affect all of Utah except Salt Lake City and West Valley City as well as Summit, Wasatch, and Grand counties. They will remain in the Orange phase.
Coronavirus.Utah.Gov has created Utah’s Health Guidance System to show visually which phase all of our counties are in. They also put together a comprehensive list of Phased Guidelines for the General Public and Businesses that will provide you detailed information for each phase.
What is Yellow Phase?
The Yellow Phase represents “Low Risk” with specific protocols outlines during this phase. Although we are moving to Yellow Phase, high-risk individuals should still follow stricter restrictions because they are more likely to suffer severe illness from COVID-19. The Yellow Phase Guidelines below can be found on the State’s Coronavirus website as well.
