This month we held training on how to use the defibrillator in the main corporate office. Don reviewed with when to use the defibrillator and how to use it. Thanks Don for helping ensure Safety Matters.
When to use:
An automated external defibrillator should only be used on someone suffering sudden cardiac arrest, presenting as unconscious and not breathing. It should never be used on a patient suffering a heart attack, who is still conscious and breathing.
How to use:
Follow the instructions as guided by the AED. Instructions are also in the defibrillator closet.
Location:
The AED is located just East of the bathrooms on the main level at the corporate office.
