Spring has sprung, summer is coming, and the quarantine has been lifted (sort of!) Get out there and enjoy! And what better way to do that than a walk around the park or the block or the mall or the mountains. Walking is a great way to spend time with friends and family, improve your health AND earn you money!
Are you on Magleby’s medical insurance through MotivHealth? If so, are you missing out on your free money? I hope not!
MotivHealth offers a walking program that allows you and your spouse to each earn $20 per month just for walking! Can you believe it! All you need to do is walk at least 8,000 steps per day for at least 20 days per month. A cinch, right!?
When you log at least 8,000 steps per day for at least 20 days per month, you and your spouse will each earn $20 per month deposited into your HSA account. That’s up to $240 or $480 per year! And the best part is, since June is just around the corner, if you haven’t started yet, it’s not too late! Just sign up in June and you could earn up to $140 or $280 for the remainder of the year PLUS an additional $10 for each of you in December!

Follow the steps to set up your steps account. Setup a Device to pair your device with Motiv or you can request that Motiv send you a free fitness tracker. Simply call MotivHealth at (844) 234-4472 to get your tracker or for questions on the program.
If you use Motiv’s fitness tracker, they provide instructions on how to install the Garmin Connect app on your phone and sync your steps with Motiv.
Once you’ve set up a device and synced it, you can either sync your steps or choose to Manually Log Steps.
Manually Logging Steps
If you choose to manually log the steps, it’s super easy. Keep track of your steps and type them into the tracker.
Manually logging steps is helpful if you use a different type of fitness tracker that doesn’t just track steps.
