A message from Caliber Wealth Management
Hello Magleby Folks!
Caliber Wealth Management is the advisory firm for the Magleby Professional Services 401k plan. We’re here to help with any questions you may have about your 401k account, and to help you with your retirement savings and planning.
Recently, while logging in to some of our accounts, we have come across the following notification from Touchstone Retirement Services, the custodian of the Magleby 401k plan. I thought we would pass this on as a heads up to be alert and watchful for scams attempting to get access to personal information.
“Recently a spoofed e-mail was sent by a malicious group purporting to be from our customer service team. The message mentioned an invoice and included a PDF attachment. We never e-mail invoices to participants, nor are they sent by our Client Services team. If you received one of these messages, please delete it immediately. Please note that this does not indicate that a data breach has occurred. Touchstone has not had a data breach and your information remains secure.
“We take the security of your data very seriously and have employed a number of measures designed to safeguard your data. However, the best way to secure your data is to be diligent with your user ID and password information, and mindful of any transaction notifications related to your account.
“If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us by phone at 1-877-937-2040 or e-mail to clientservices@tsretirement.com.”
Please remember to be vigilant in watching for scams or other fraudulent activities with all of your financial accounts, including your 401k information.
